A big Thanks to Teresa, she managed to get the class support on the dinner, although there were still some minor unpleasant incidents.
Choosing the venue was a hardest decision, we need to please everyone, of every expect, from the type/quality of food, the environment to the budget. Initially we intend to have it either in Mederka Palace or Kuching Hilton, but some metioned Four Points or even Mamak shop - the Bombay Masala.
What a constructive idea.........Bombay Masala, which of course met our tight budget, but sorry to say, the environment is not suitable for such a gathering.gathering along the five-foot way will only be cool if a few good friends sitting around for a chat and having our favourite Roti Canai and Teh Tarik.. Not for our CMBA gathering whereby we will invite some VVIP.
Prof Abu asked me, is it really that grand as suggested by the restaurant's name?
Well, you judge it yourself on that evening. But one thing for sure, the decoration around the restaurant is lovely.
After confirming the date of our gathering with the restaurant operator, and paid up our booking fee, we serve all the VVIP with an invitation card, just to make sure that all the VVIP aware of this function, since I only received two replies to my e-mails I sent before hand.

With this card, VVIP will be very much informed then.
Since, most of our coursemates are unsured of where about is the restaurant, Teresa requested me to put up a map. I am not good at drawing, to save time, I downloaded a satellite image of Satok Area, patch it with some popular landmarks around that area, which took only less than 10 minutes of my time, and e-mailed it to Teresa, Sally and Jing Lee.
The next day, I received an e-mail from Sally telling me that she can't stop laughing after reading that map of mine till she fallen off her chair. Really that serious? fallen off her chair?
Is the map really that poor? The map really can't tell where the restaurant located? If so,
instead of asking me to drawing a proper locality map, I will request the Unimas bus service to fetch all of you there, after the lecture.
This will solve my problem of producing a sketchy map and all of you will save some petrol as well. How about that?
Anyway, Thank you to Teresa, Sally and Jing Lee, with your hardwork and determination, we will put up a good show on the 23/05 evening. Cheer
