Sandakan has a very small airport with two aerobridges catered for Boeing 737......
It is located about 30min drive from Sandakan town, which is about 7-8 miles...
It looks simple....
but very spacious......
with a shop in the center of the terminal building......
and the departure hall is very small as well.....
You can see Swift or Swallow flying in side the terminal building everywhere.....and bird net underneath the staircase...Good thing is, the cleaner done a very good job....all the bird droppings were clean up immediately. Thanks to their hard works...and commitment....

The cleaners have to clean and sayang the bird as their nest ... is expensive.
