Well, I just wanted to try the actual feeling of `5-star sleeping experience at a 1-star price', and see how Dato' Tony Fernandes' concept of a budget hotel looks like. The banner said the room costs RM 9.99 onward. Very true, I got it at RM 69.90 via online booking.
I arrived at the hotel kind of early, around 1.30pm, and the receiption told me that I could only check in at 4.00pm. I requested to leave my luggage with them and that costed me RM 2.00 per luggage.
The room rate did not include airconditioning service. I had to pay additional RM 12.00 for 12 hours usage, and it was controlled by a timer.
The room looks nice with decorative patterns on the walls.
But, it was rather small. I had to place my luggage on the floor against the well, and I hardly had space to walk.
There was no table and chair in the room, except this retractable shelf.
But, there was a mini safe besides the bed to keep my valuable belonging.
The shower room looked nice, and the shower was very powerful too. Kind of enjoyable to have a hot water shower, but...........
The enjoyment did not last long, because the bathroom started to flood. I just wonder, it is the strategic method to control room guess from having too long a shower and avoid wasting of the precious water.
