Pusat Tuisyen Istimewa

Recently, my son's school teacher introduced us a special tuition centre. The teacher complaining that my son cannot catch up in school and needs special attention. Out of curiousity, we dropped by this tuition centre to check it out how special the centre is.........
Well, to my amaze, this tuition centre is really for the special kids. It offers programme for primary and lower secondary school children with learning difficulties. It runs by a ` retired Guru Cemerlang Pendidikan Khas' of both state and national level. The centre emphasizes on small learning groups of maximum 3 students per teacher, and each session is 2 1/2 hours, twice per week. After having a chat with the founder, I must give them a thumb up....they really did a good job. They not only provide a pleasant learning environment for kids that are not willing to learn in school, they also teach children of dyslexia, mild autism and mild hyperactive. They produced many `A' students, over the years, despite these children were classified as `problem child 'by their school teacher......
But, this school is not meant for son, because my son is not qualify for the enrolment. Because he fails to meet the follow criteria:

1) The centre is for children of age 6 and above, my son only 4 years old.

2) My son actually has not problem and can chit chating well with the center founder until she gave him a box of colour pencil as reward.

Before we left the center, the founder told my son, if the teacher still pressuring him on his study, tell the teacher `I am only 4 years old, don't pressure me, I need to have my child hood life.'

Very true, nowadays, teachers and parents are too academic focused till they forgot their children need to live their private life too. Can you parent just imagine what type of life your children gone through? Morning going to school, afternoon go for tuition, at night still need to do homework or revision. Everyday in their mind only books, ABC or 123.

Nowadays children don't even know what `marbles' actually is. We used to go into the drain to catch fish during our younger days, but they can't. There were lots of game which we played when we were young, but our children have no change to enjoy that. So, please give their child hood back to them....
