New Mukah Airport..

Under the SCORE development, Mukah town will have a new airport which cater for Boeing 737 to land. Currently only twin otter plane flying to Mukah town...

This will be the location of new Mukah airport.....

and the ground condition is `yerkeee'.......

Sand filling is the solution for such ground condition. According to the local only Igan river has sand suitable for the project.

Igan is a small fishing village.....

Here we are.....on the river mouth of Igan river, checking the quality of sand on the river bed...

Supprisingly the water is very shallow....about 2m deep...and it is during the high tide...no wonder `flood' visited Sibu town frequently.... When we back on shore, it is `buka puasa' time already..... Hmmm...What is the best dish in Mukah? the answer is Umai.....
